Description

Anunnaki / Namru – The shining god who illuminates our paths

Deities ruled ancient Mesopotamia.
They were divided into two groups, the Anunnaki, who governed the world and lived on the water, and the Igigi, responsible in providing the material needs of the upper class and lived on the land.
Decisions were taken by the Council of Anunnaki and presided by Anu, the king of gods.
The Igigi were the 6th generation of gods and were servants of the Anunnaki.
In the Atra-Hasis flood myth, the Igigi rebelled after 40 days.
In order to end the resurgence, Enki, member of the Annunaki council designed the replacement.
